Song Inspiration: Vocaloid - Pierrot

MISS SL South Africa got her inspiration from a original postcard called “Pierrot Moon serenade”. Pierrot always makes her think of the late 17 and 18 hundreds. This is her favorite era in history specially the Victorian era. She wanted to display her love of Victorian goth style and added a Pierrot influence to the styling.

The outfit she put together is based on the dress Columbine was wearing, the violin Pierrot was playing and a ruffle neck collar he was wearing in the postcard. In most art forms Pierrot always gets his heart broken by his love for Columbine. She is portraying this by the blood red colors of the dress and the Gothic violin that is held together in her hair with barbwire.
